NORMAL. Everything looks normal. No sign of The Vascular Shadow. My RE did the ultrasound this time and didn't see anything abnormal. The nurse even went to ask the CNM who was at last week's ultrasound to come in and point out where the shadow (RE said clot today) had been. Nothing. We heard the heartbeat again, but not much else. CRL is measuring right on time this week (well, 8w5d instead of 8w6d). I was expecting limbs to be pointed out, brain to be pointed out, detection of movement, all the things I have read on other blogs, but I didn't get that 'show and tell' this visit. The pictures he printed were pretty unrevealing, as well. Part of me didn't, couldn't, believe everything was normal. I think I asked my RE about 5 times, "So everything really looks normal?"
Yes. I guess I really am pregnant.
