my new acupuncturist (and my cold thin-walled uterus)

Love her. And, she works with other patients of Dr. A, my RE, so she knows his practice and protocols. She also works with pregnant women, and one strolled past me in her healthy glow as I sat waiting.

Yesterday my pulses were weak. I am approx 7 dpo and my blood should be flowing strongly, right? She thinks I may have a blood deficiency and put me on post-ovulation/miscarriage preventative herbs that relax the uterus for implantation, support the uterine lining and increase heat and blood flow.

I'm thinking this is not my month. I'm just too cold.

I need to get my progesterone levels checked again--last time they were at 10, border line low.

I had cold uterus issues too. I wish fixing it was as simple as putting a heating pad on my tummy. The herbs should help out, good luck!

P.S. My progesterone has tested as low as 6.5 and nobody (doctors) seemed alarmed. We all know it's low why don't the think so?!

Jill - we have a lot of the same issues I think. However, after 3+ months of weekly acupuncture, my last period was 5 days instead of 3 (= thicker lining) and my last cycle she actually commented that it was the first time my uterus was warm. Keep up with the acupuncture - I think it will result in a BFP for the both of us!!!

Kim, I know progesterone levels and what they mean is debated among RE's. However, the nurse told me that during my IUI cycle they will want to see my levels above 12.

Josey, my period is usually just 3 days also, much lighter than say, 10 years ago. Glad to hear acupuncture is helping!
