Second beta waits are nerve racking regardless of whether they are to confirm a pregnancy or to confirm a completed miscarriage. Granted, the wait to confirm a pregnancy is a million times more exciting, manic, and terrifying. This wait feels more like the clomid challenge test in that I feel I might possibly be doomed.
The good news is, I am not doomed. Yay! As good as news gets these days.
Beta Result: 60. Down from 690 one week ago. It dropped faster then I thought it would. What a relief.
It seems that I have passed all hormone producing tissue and am well on my way back to zero. I should need just one more follow up beta next week. Then the wait for a real period and then on to FET #1.
I see wine in my future tonight!
