Monday night I received my first Intramuscular Injection of Delestrogen in the ass via my husband's hands. I didn't have to look and I didn't feel a thing. Ecstatic. Then we realized that F would be out of town for my next dose and I would have to do the shot myself.
This brings me to tonight. I've been watching IVF Shoot 'Em Up for an hour. Then I mustered up some badass, readied my syringe, twisted my torso around and pushed in the needle.
I feel like a superwoman with a syringe. I can do this. I'm even ready for PIO. Bring It.

Wow, you are super woman! :) I can handle sub-cutaneous injections myself, but don't think I could do an IM injection!

YAY!!!!! You are super woman!! I know it took me a long time to get use to injections (I didn't need them for fertility reasons, luckily oral meds helped me) ... but I have diabetes now.. and I'm insulin dependent... so I totally know that fear and building yourself up.

You are a brave woman. I couldn't stomach giving myself the shots! Yikes!
No way could I do that! I had to give myself PIO for three nights while my DH was out of town - and I could not fathom how to do them in my tush. I did them in my thigh. Not fun, but do-able and I felt like a champ afterwards too!

I concur! My partner travels all the time and I had to do the injections myself from the very beginning. I felt like a CHAMPION.
