It's not set up yet or anything, just parts in a cluttered room that is slowly filling up with stuff for a baby I never thought we would be able to have. We have a crib. This is what we've been saying to each other every now and then in still disbelief. And utter gratitude. I can't believe we have a crib.

We did some traveling over spring break and I think I ate too much. By Saturday, I experienced my first attack of indigestion. I was sick all night and vomited for the first and second time during pregnancy. I still feel full and can't eat much at a time. By evening indigestion seems to hit, often with nausea and discomfort in my ribs. Is this what the third trimester is going to be like?

I've heard that quite a few women have more digestive issues in the third trimester. Time for tums?
Yes my dear. Welcome to the third trimester ... where you quite literally hurt when you eat too much and indigestion/heart burn are daily occurrences. But, it is all worth it in the end when you are holding that beautiful baby. You won't even remember all of these aches and pains when you look at that face, I promise you.
I had horrid heartburn and indigestion through all my pregnancies actually it was my first symptom before even a missed cycle...but most surely the third was rocky. I did well avoiding bloaty foods nbyeast and I ate small amounts ho early the last 2 months I basically ate around clock just small meals foods that triggered the discomfort varied in pregnancies but my mf doc suggested drinking small amounts of juice with my bigger meals 30 mins prior to aid in better digestion it can make for some painful episodes but it is so worth it my children were so grounded before they ever arrived the punch's flips and every one had the ability to find my bladder when on the road and a bathroom in sight...lol I know it's an ok tale but all my babies had headsfull of hair don't k ow if that really contributed or not but...good thing though is the closer u get between all the other lovely tokens of pregnancy your gifted I'll spare u the details indigestion is forgotten and even I who greaved say good yr to my long sought after bump I served eviction notices promptly and sooner than I thought I'd like...
Yay for a crib! That was a HUGE turning point for us, too.
Ah, yes, I lived on Tums in the third trimester. The reflux was awful.
Wow. Big step getting that crib!
Third trimester so far hasn't been so bad. My heartburn was atrocious all through #1, but now that I am in the third tri with #2, it has gone away. Shocking.
Have you started the hospital bag packing yet? That was another milestone for me the first time around. So many emotions associated with packing that bag...
Tums, smaller meals, sitting upright, and staying away from acidic foods helped me out.
Yay for a crib. I didn't even get one until a couple of months after our baby was born! (Okay, so were remodeling and really didn't have space, but I was in denial about buying gear until just a few weeks before our due date.)
